Today the topic on Sunday Scribblings is ‘Miracle’. So here are few lines depicting my belief in miracles!
If I ever crush flowers
that lies in your palm
Don’t tell me it is insane
I don’t believe in love,
but miracle!
Miracle to happen
from aroma of mashed flowers.
If I ever slash wings
of butterfly in your garden
Don’t tell me I will be cursed
I don’t believe in heaven
but miracle!
Miracle to happen
bracing the butterfly to rise without wings.
If I ever kill myself
in the darkness of some lonely night
Don’t tell me I am coward
I don’t believe in life
but miracle!
Miracle to happen
making my soul to light the darkest heart

There is always a positive side to everything. I like how you wrote this with the repeating lines!
Powerful and beautiful.
Such a thought provoking poem and a truly different take on miracle
Miraculously beautiful! 🙂
Well you really made people think with this one. People somehow believe too much in somethings which aren’t that important. Liked the repeating lyrics too.
profound insight!
@ LJ, PAUL, KEITHRAMBLINGS, AADIL, NEMESIS89, BLIV_IN_MAGIC – Thanks so much for your kind words.
I love how you’ve used the word miracle, it isn’t just the bringing of some gift or other, it is many things in one. Great interpretation of the word.
